Day 16 – Best Friends
Who is your best friend? I would say my husband Jamie is my best friend. We’ve been married 33 years this coming July. We’ve been together so long that I wonder if he can read my mind sometimes, and vice-versa.

Day 15 – Life Unexplained
Day 15 – Life Unexplained
God won’t usually give us answers to our questions when He reveals His will to us – He simply wants us to follow directions.
Day 14 – I Don’t Fit In
Day 14 – I Don’t Fit In
I’ve heard it said this way before, “Jesus wants the best for you and He is the best, by far.”
Day 12 – My Last Week At Home
Day 12 – My Last Week At Home
The Lord wants us to live a life filled with Him and thus we flourish and bear fruit. It makes no sense to lock the Lord out of our lives because we are going through difficulties.
Day 11 – Vultures
Day 11 – Vultures
Genesis 15:11 NLT “Some vultures swooped down to eat the carcasses, but Abram chased them away.”
Day 10 – Hailstorms, Wind, and Mud
Day 10 – Hailstorms, Wind, and Mud
God called us to plant churches and I can safely say that church planting is not for sissies.
Day 8 – The Wells Are Deep
Day 8 – The Wells Are Deep
Yes, the well of our incompleteness without Him runs so very deep.
Day 7 – Be Careful Little Eyes
Day 7 – Be Careful Little Eyes
Psalm 119:30 NLT “The teaching of your Word gives light, so even the simple can understand.”
Day 6 – Words
I get into trouble sometimes not so much because of what I do or don’t do, but more because of what I have said or maybe haven’t said. Does that happen to you? Me and my big mouth! Seems my brain is always scrambling to catch up with the trouble that my words have created. As a child, I always had something to say even if I didn’t know anything about a given subject. I have memories of being in class and the teacher asking the students for answers. Of course I had no idea what the answer would be, but I would wave my hand frantically anyway and blurt out the first thought that would come into my mind. Whenever report cards were sent home, teachers would inevitably comment, “Lea talks too much in class.” It was so difficult to be quiet! Words. They are incredibly significant. With our words we do so many things: Words create good/bad atmosphere. You know that
Day 4 – He Didn’t Stutter
I’d rather take a step into the dark hallway with God than to jump off the cliff on my own. Hallways always lead to doors whereas a cliff leads only to jagged rocks.
