The world has become a small place. In 1987 when we first moved to Africa, it took months to get news vial mail from "back home." Once, we went six months without knowing what was in our bank account. You may wonder why we didn't just make a phone call and find out. Well, there was no phone available to us back then. You could say we were off the grid.
What does it take to walk with lions?
I was trying hard to see Jesus but I was just too short to see above the tree line.
We are required to put a little “sweat equity” into this walk of faith. Sometimes this journey is harrowing, fraught with impossibilities – but that’s where God comes in.
Sparrows are so common that they are often thought to be "disposable." If one falls, why bother? There are literally millions, if not billions, of them filling our skies. It may not matter in the grand scheme of things, if one sparrow falls, but it does matter to that one sparrow.
One of the most important things a dream does is not for us, but what it can do for others. God never puts a dream in our hearts that won't spill out and reach others with His love. When the dream God puts in you resurrects another's dream that has died, you have passed the test.
